MEA marked Passport Seva Divas on 24 June 2026 and spoke on e-Passports and passport services.
The Ministry of External Affairs observed the 14th Passport Seva Divas on 24 June 2026, the anniversary of the Passports Act, 1967.
At the event, the Ministry spoke about citizen-centric passport services under PSP V2.0 and the chip-enabled e-Passport, and reiterated that a passport is a travel document and not a proof of citizenship.
